Listing Day
For about 6-8 months, we had talked about listing our house in March. Well, March arrived and it was time to get the ball rolling. In the first year we had our house, we did a bunch of upgrades to the house, including a complete interior paint job, hardwood floors, landscaping changes, kitchen renovation, etc. However, we had some unfinished projects that we had “ignored” the past few years. So while we should have done them for us to enjoy earlier, we were doing them before listing the house! So we jammed a bunch of renovations into a few weeks - painting, carpet, backsplash, re-caulking, staining the banister to match the hard woods, etc. I learned how to use a caulk gun and had a paint brush in my hand nearly everyday for a week. I was ready for see the “For Sale” sign go up because that meant all our little projects were completed! We set the middle of March as our deadline and had all our final touches ready for listing day!
When we moved to PA a little over six years ago, we lucked out finding an incredible realtor randomly through Zillow. She helped us find the perfect place to call home in the fall of 2009. When it was time to sell our house, it was without a doubt that Susan was the realtor we wanted to list our house. It was fabulous working with her again. Without a delay after signing the contract this morning, the signs went up this afternoon! It’s official - bring on the buyers!
If you are in the Philadelphia suburbs area and are looking to buy or sell a house, we would highly recommend Susan Welsh of Re/Max Realty Group! Give her a call today...
