RV-Dreams Rally

In 2014, we decided that it was a must for us to attend the next RV-Dreams Rally. As soon as registration opened up in the Fall of 2014, we registered along with some family & friends of ours who were all considering living life on the road! The Spring RV-Dreams.com Rally was held the last week in April (April 27 - May 3) at River Plantation RV Resort in Sevierville, TN. As a way to save some money, we traveled & stayed with Russ' sister & brother-in-law. It was quite the scene when all us clowns arrived and piled out of Mike’s truck and into the 5th wheel! Jay & Karen had already rolled in to their site in their lovely motorhome and were there to greet us. It was a full-agenda every day, but on topics that truly held our interest. Well maybe an exception would be Annette and her intolerance for any more information on tires, meanwhile Russ was in tire heaven. We learned so much that it was hard to take it all in. We had great conversations in the evening talking about all the aspects and challenges of full-time RVing. It was great week surrounded by a community of people with similar interests and futures in mind. We were able to meet people in all walks of life and are certain to see some of the people again in the future. 

Without a doubt, the highlight was having the opportunity to meet the couple behind RV-Dreams.com, Howard & Linda Payne. They truly are the rockstars they appear to be online. They definitely provide a great & inspiring blueprint of how to make a Full-Time RV lifestyle work and tips and tricks to make the most out of it. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. We hope to cross paths with both of you again in the future.

We can’t forget to include the fun times, Kentucky Derby races, hat contests, and campfires we enjoyed throughout the week. The pictures don’t begin to do them justice!
