Visiting our "Nutty" Friends!

Visiting our "Nutty" Friends!

Ever since our dear friend, Denise, fell in love, left us in PA, and moved to South Florida we knew we just had to visit her! While we were sad to lose her as our vendor neighbor at the Phoenixville Farmers’ Market, we were so happy she met such an awesome guy, Blake! Plus, this just gave us one more excuse to spend some time in South Florida! Tough sacrifice, huh?!

When we found ourselves in central South Florida with both coasts just a little over an hour away, we decided this was the perfect time for a market friend reunion. It only seemed fitting to meet Denise & Blake at their stand at the Coral Springs Farmers Market! Oh how sweet it was to get a hug from lovely Denise & hubby, Blake, the brain-children of Naughty Nutty Love. We loved seeing them in their element. We even got lucky enough to sample their new blend - Cashew Almond. The crunchiness of almond butter mixed with the creaminess of cashew butter makes it a true winner. Russ was happy when his tongue touched his favorite - Cinnamon Almond. Order some TODAY

We enjoyed some time walking around the farmer’s market, which is something that we love to do on a weekend morning in whatever area our travels take us. Selfishly we have to admit we really enjoyed watching Denise & Blake and the rest of the market vendors work briskly to tear down their tents after a long, warm market day. Brings back the memories of peddling cupcakes Saturday after Saturday at several local markets. While our memories are very fond, the thought of setting up and tearing down still makes Russ twitch!

After the market, we headed back to Denise & Blake’s house for them to unload their goods and we benefited with time for a tour of their lovely house. From there, we headed over to Ethos Greek Bistro to grab a bite to eat for both our vegan and our gluten free contingent. We were all super happy with the menu. YUM! More importantly this gave us plenty of time to gab and gab and gab. We caught them up on our new full-time lifestyle & travel and we loved hearing about their growing business & future plans. It was such a refreshing afternoon spent with friends. Perk #65427 of our life, catching up with friends all across the country. Watch out East Coast & New England friends - we are coming for you next!

The funny part was that Mike & Annette had friends in the Pompano Beach area as well, so car-pool we did. After they finished up a great visit with friends, we started the trek back to our homes parked at Big Cypress RV Resort on the Seminole Indian Reservation. Life is good.
