Good Burrito Co

During one of trips to or from Folklore Coffee Company, a cute little burrito shop caught my eye – the Good Burrito Co. I quickly checked out their website and facebook page and had it on my agenda to get there before we left Elizabethtown. I’m a sucker for just about any fast casual Mexican dining establishment – más queso por favor? Due to a late start one morning; we decided to catch lunch there. It was great seeing a local business level the playing field with other chain stores – can we say Chipotle? They most certainly used Chipotle as their business model for everything from the menu, atmosphere, packaging, chairs, etc.

A super friendly and informative staff member greeted us and gave us the low-down on all of our options. They were also able to help with gluten-free friendly options! SCORE! They had a few extra options in comparison to Chipotle on their ingredient bar – fresh sliced jalapenos, diced cilantro, and a myriad of sauce options. We ended up with 2 pretty darn tasty burrito bowls!

As a side note, both the restaurant & bathroom were also very clean. Two thumbs up!

Sorry I don't have any photos of the food - we scarfed it up too quick! But, I was impressed with their branding! You don't always find such consistency in a new, small local business - keep up the great work Good Burrito Co!

If you are in need of another reason to get your booty out of the chair and on your way to the Good Burrito Co. Here it is straight from there website…“The only thing we love more than burritos is our community. A portion of every tasty dish we serve benefits a good cause in our regions. Current Cause: Community Cupboard of Elizabethtown” What could be better than good food for a great cause?

Adios!
